Jeu de combinaisons, d'origine chinoise, apparenté aux dominos, qui se joue à trois ou à cinq. Les marins des navires américains en escale l'adoptèrent [en Chine du Sud] (...) et l'importèrent aux États-Unis, où il fut accueilli avec enthousiasme.
